Barry Rhue opened Cars & Truckware in 1991 with a simple idea: drivers with a chipped windshield, a dented door, or a faded headlight shouldn't have to wait weeks and pay body shop prices to get back on the road. That idea turned into a shop built on referrals, repeat customers, and word of mouth across Alamance County.
Today, the shop still sits at 953 S Mebane St in Burlington, NC, where generations of local families have brought their cars and trucks for windshield repair, window tinting, minor auto body repair, and truck accessory installation. Many of the people walking through the door today are the sons and daughters of customers Barry helped back in the early 1990s.
